About Virginia Pasley

I’m a journalist currently working for the National Association of Federally-insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) as Associate Director of Communications.

I’m from Alexandria, Virginia (I know, I know). I double-majored in English and Spanish at the College of William & Mary, and got a master’s in Journalism at the University of Missouri. In between those two degrees, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in a small town in Ukraine, teaching English to 5th through 11th graders. (I also wrote a blog while there.) I speak pretty good Spanish and decidedly mediocre Ukrainian.

One time, I won an NPR quiz show.

In my free time, I’m an Alto 1 in the Capitol Hill Chorale.
